The Naked Mole Rat is an amazing creature. It is the only species currently classified as a heterocephalus. It is strange because it is nearly cold-blooded and it has almost no pain sensation in its skin. If I were to suddenly mutate into any animal… I’d hope it could be a naked mole rat.
